First of all, if you have come to this region of the United States to stay in a five-star resort, with all services provided, you've come to the wrong place. Wyoming has a population just over 500,000 people, and is in one of the largest states in the country. By definition, it will have little to no human development, meaning, by definition again, no beach-front resorts. If you have come to Wyoming, it's for the majestic natural environment, inevitably. If you were expecting a metropolis, you will be wrong again.
This area of Wyoming offers some of the best skiing, and sight-seeing in the United States, and is in close proximity to both Yellowstone, and the Grand Tetons. This region of Wyoming sees an annual migration of tourists in rough quantity to the population of Los Angeles. For this community to handle that kind of traffic, you would expect some services to not follow expectations. Yet, the population should be commended on its ability to sustain through such a difficult time.
I'm a Canadian, I live in a beautiful city, with great accommodations. When I travel to a beautiful place like Wyoming, I just enjoy the beautiful scenery, the amazing snowmobiling and skiing, and the wonderful city of Jackson. It is one of the finest old-western towns in North America, and the people are very hospitable.
Besides, this is the wild west. Or as close as you can get to it.

PS. If you want the best rooms this area has to offer, be ready to book far in advance if the snow is deep, or you're coming mid-season in the summer.

The room was comfortable, but there is not much sound proofing between rooms. The hotel was clean and convenient to everything in Jackson Hole, but then again nothing is too far away in Jackson. I would stay here again when In Jackson.

Staying here in the off-season, the staff at Jackson Super 8 were attentive and friendly. The room was very comfortable, from the quality linens and comfortable mattress, to the cushy towels, in-room fridge and great selection of breakfast items that morning. The WiFi connection was fast, making work in my room time efficient.

This was a very nice Super 8 just not a great location, small strip mall. But the management was great and the room was clean, no view. Like others have mentioned the afternoons snacks were set out for your enjoyment. The staff was helpful in restaurant suggestions and overall friendly.
