“Wow...”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 February 2012

I stayed at this hotel for one night. My roommates and I were a little freaked out by the fact that the locks to the room weren't very secure and that an old fashioned key was the key to the room. The hallways were dark and dingy and we felt like we had to walk in groups just to go down the hall to the ice machine. The floors of the room were dirty and didn't look very clean. The beds were comfy but sunk way in when you sat down. There was no refrigerator or microwave and the pool was being heavily cleaned with people in gas masks cleaning it. The bathroom didn't seem very clean and the toilet looked like it had been used one too many times. There were only two towels in the room and not many pillows. The wallpaper was peeling and you could hear the semi trucks on the highway outside our room. Whenever you turned the heat on, you could smell something burning and once you got over the smell, the heat worked on and off. The bedspread in on one of the beds had a hole in it. Overall the hotel smelled old and like it needed to be repaired. I'm sure if they spruced it up and maybe had brighter light bulbs in both the rooms and the hallways it wouldn't be so bad. Also, if they updated the keys in the room to the key cards from keys.

“It was fine to stay there.”

Stayed there the other night. There was a nice computer in the lounge, the price was perfect.

My room was clean, the water pressure was good, and the temperature was consistent. The TV was Very old and a bit grainy, but oh well. The continental breakfast was on the sparse side but I got what I needed.

I stayed alone and didn't feel unsafe becuase of the location. I Always take my valuables in at Any motel no matter where I stay. You can get ripped off at the High end motels just as easy as you can at the small ones.

“I should have read more reviews”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 December 2011

We stopped by here because the weather was getting really bad and it had a restaurant attached to the motel. The first shock was a charge of $27 for a pet. Our dog was cleaner than the room they gave us. "Old" doesn't do justice to this place. The smell of disinfectant was so strong as to make us suspicious that CSI might have been the last ones in the room. The halls were dirty and we really debated just leaving. The bed was comfortable though, and we decided it was just the one night. Finding an excellent restaurant (FIre Rock) with great wine really helped get us through the night!

Room Tip: Keep going.

“Best Bed I have slept in”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 November 2011

I called ahead and had a reservations. When I arrived, my check in was quick and they had my room ready, including having the heater already turned on. How nice was that?

This was a great room, really really comfortable bed and very reasonably priced at only $59.

I would not hesitate to stay here again. The pool and hot tub were supposedly working, but I arrived too late to enjoy them.
