I've been traveling to Dubois for as long as I can remember for a family reunion every few years. Usually, everyone stays at the Stagecoach Inn. This time, I wanted to stay somewhere a little newer and different. HUGE mistake. It was by far the filthiest hotel I've ever been in. The tile floors were so dirty, the grout had turned black and they appear to have never been mopped. There were dead flies on the floor, other peoples trash was still on the floor next to the toilet, the mirror still had toothpaste splatters on it, the sheets had obvious stains, etc. We would've checked out but every other place in town was sold out due to it being a big high school reunion weekend. I cringed every minute I had to be in the room Even my husband (Who doesn't really care about filthy hotel rooms) wore shoes the entire time he has to be in the room...and flip flops in the shower. This is the worst part: after we left our room for breakfast and returned after lunch, it appeared as though housekeeping hadn't come yet. I went to the office to complain about our filthy room and I was told that sometimes the housekeeping will be lazy and not clean the rooms if the management isn't checking in on them. The manger had been away, so the housekeeping slacked on the job. Who admits that to a guest???!!!!! Disgusting. Plus, apparently housekeeping had entered our room, but since my daughters teddy bear was on the bed they weren't allowed to remove it in order to make the bed. Really? The other bed didn't have anything on it at all. Moral of the story, they do as little as possible to clean the rooms. I highly warn against this hotel. Upon visiting my other family members in the clean rooms of Stagecoach Inn, I regretted not staying there. Lesson learned.

We're sorry for your experience during your stay. We have many family reunions and repeat guests every year, and have never received comments like these. All I can say, is that we will address the staff that was on at that time and ensure that nothing like that takes place again. We have been a Trip Advisor Award of Excellence Winner 3 years in a row, so I feel that, unfortunately, your experience did not reflect our normal standard of service. Again, this will be addressed for future customers and I apologize that your stay was unsatisfactory. Thank you.

We were at the Longhorn for 10 days. It is a well maintained campground. The sites are large enough to afford privacy. The setting beside the Wind River between the mountains is beautiful and tranquil. Dubois is a small town with great food, shops and friendly people. We would highly recommend the Longhorn and hope to return.

Stayed here as a stop-over from Grand Teton back to Denver for two nights, and what a lovely RV park. Generous pitches, beautiful spot by the river, great washrooms ... and in a stunning location.
Takes about an hour and half to drive to the centre of Grand Teton - up and over some substantial mountains!! I had not realised it was quite this far when we booked, but it wasn't a difficult drive, and definitely worth doing.
Small café serving breakfast only on the ranch - we were directed into Dubois, to a couple of suggestions - ended up at the Cowboy Café, which served great burgers, and fabulous pies!! Best washrooms in our entire six week trip!!

Room tip: ask for a riverside pitch - stunning!

Very well maintained RV resort area in a beautiful setting along the Wind River. Park has several amenities including laundry, wifi, and clean showers. We stayed here because it was conveniently located on the way to Grand Tetons National Park and the small western town of Dubois. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Room tip: Campsite along the river is beautiful and quiet

We booked three Deluxe rooms and met our adult children at the Longhorn Ranch. We had cable TV, a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, high-speed wireless internet access, air-conditioning / heat, a lovely continental breakfast and a general store. The breakfast included delicious coffee which is often difficult to find. We especially enjoyed the friendly, charming women that managed the breakfast area. The lodge was clean, beautiful and the staff was courteous and helpful. We spend our days enjoying the town of Dubois, 4-wheeling (with JH Rentals - AL) then visiting Jackson to shop and whitewater raft, and finally we explored Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. We loved the town and all the individual shops (great gifts purchased at the Waterwheel) - and the nice restaurants. (Be sure to visit the Cowboy Cafe and leave room for desert!) The Wind-river runs through the Longhorn ranch so fishing was just a short walk. This ranch is truly a hidden gem.
