I travel a lot for work and therefore stay in a lot hotels all over the place. For the price the hotel is what you expect. It is nice, but so are all the other hotels in this price range. The rooms are clean and the service is excellent. My only complaint would be the blankets on the bed. For me they were not nearly warm enough. I didn't want to turn the heater up because they are loud and annoying, plus that is a waste of resources.

We needed room for 1 night while traveling that also accepts pets- Room roomy with frig. ,clean quiet comfortable - breakfast great with wonderful variety - would absolutely stay there again !

From Fort Robinson I traveled west and after a hundred miles of desolate countryside, settled down for the night in the town of Douglas shortly after four o'clock, having driven just 304 miles today. I had made reservations at the Motel Clarion – which was the most expensive of all the places I stayed during this trip. Upon entering my room, I could easily see why, as it was big enough to be a suite, with a king-sized bed, large desk and chair, sofa, easy chair, big bureau, coffee maker, microwave, fridge, in-room safe, and television with 65 channels.
My quarters were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and quiet. The next morning I had a complimentary breakfast of orange juice, waffles, and coffee – although the selection was by no means limited to these – also featuring a selection of Danish, muffins, and many other items to eat or drink.

Stopped here on a family spring break road trip. This area apparently is very busy with some sort of construction in the area and many hotels fill up with construction workers this time of year. I found the parking lot and entry ways to the hotel to have a lots of mud. Another problem was parking. The big truck and trailers pulled in taking up many car spaces by the entry doors to the hotel, but understand they have to park somewhere to. There was no sign to the hotel, but gps took us to the door. The room was ok and the furniture looked new. There was painting going on and it looked like they were doing improvements. The pool area was empty while we were there and the kids like the pool and hot tub. The pool area was very roomy, open and clean. Hotel staff was friendly. The hotel has an attached restaurant (good breakfast). We got in late and just wanted to get a pizza. No pizza served! I think they would make a mint if they offered it. Ran across the street for sandwiches. No problem with the smoking areas affecting us in the non-smoking rooms.
