“The Chuckwagon is a great place to sleep!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

We found the K 3 on trip advisor, and are so glad we did! I talked to Jerry before I flew to MT and drove to WY. He may sound gruff on the phone, but don't let that fool you! He is one of the nicest men you will find, and can cook up some pretty delicious pancakes too! We arrived on October 11, thinking we would stay 1 day. We enjoyed it so much, that we decided to stay 2 nights. We took the drive out to see the wild mustangs which was quite a treat. The breakfasts are great and quite filling. All the people we met were wonderful and we felt like we were with family. We had the "chuckwagon" room downstairs and were traveling with our friend. The room sleeps 6, but with only one bathroom, it might be a bit tough. I think it would be fun to stay in the outside chuckwagon, but it was too late in the season. The sun shining on the new fallen snow mountain tops was amazing!
Not too far from town, so you can go to dinner. Tell Jerry you want to "save your soap box"! He will explain it to you! Have fun, pardner!

“Felt like we were at home!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2011

My husband and I Stayed for 4 nights and were already planning on bringing the whole family for our next stay. It took no time to feel at home staying here. We had a lot of laughs during our breakfasts with Jerry and his wife Betty. The rooms were great fun and very comfortable. Couldn't be a better setting for the ranch house viewing the mountains and the alfalfa fields in front bring in the deer and the antelope are always near. Kids will love the activities Jerry has to offer as well as adults. It's centrally located to drive to the downtown area for museums, dining, and shopping. Although you feel completely out of town you are very near anything you may need and local drives are beautiful -- try the south fork road drive for a great scenic tour along the river.

Room Tip: Select the Teton room for up to 2 people. All other rooms can hold alot of people. Can't go wro...

“Treat Your Family to the "Best that Cody has to offer"!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2011

All it took for us was 10 minutes on the phone with Jerry to know this was a special place.
Site unseen, we rolled through 3 cattle gates and were greeted by a herd of pronghorn and two massive re-rock sentinels. Our accommodations were as unique as our hosts. Breakfast was a family affair with Jerry, Bette & fellow guests. Although our stay was brief, we felt like part of the Kinkade Family and vowed to return. If they would have given me a job, I'd still be there. If you are looking for 5 stars, add them to the billion or so you can see in the night sky at the Ranch. Our time there will be cherished always.

Warmest Regards and keep a tight cinch,
Chris & Connie Newell

“Top Notch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 September 2011

Driving down the gravel road made us a bit worried but once there we found it well worth it. It was like arriving at a piece of heaven. Jerry, Bette and staff made us feel right at home and part of the family. Our room was roomy, clean and lovely. The location was close to town and so quiet. It was enjoyable to see the antelope grazing on one mountain side and mule deer on the other. We enjoyed the cowboy breakfasts. Bud, the cook, shared a recipe and I prepared it for my grandson when we returned home. It is now his favorite breakfast. If we ever get to Cody again, we will definitely stay at the K3.

“Comfy, homey, and gorgeous!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 September 2011

Our stay at the K3 B&B made Cody one of our favorite stops along our road trip. Mr. K was friendly, breakfast was fun and delicious, cooked outside with that fabulous open skied Wyoming view, and yet only a very short drive to the city. We will certainly be back!!!
