We found the K 3 on trip advisor, and are so glad we did! I talked to Jerry before I flew to MT and drove to WY. He may sound gruff on the phone, but don't let that fool you! He is one of the nicest men you will find, and can cook up some pretty delicious pancakes too! We arrived on October 11, thinking we would stay 1 day. We enjoyed it so much, that we decided to stay 2 nights. We took the drive out to see the wild mustangs which was quite a treat. The breakfasts are great and quite filling. All the people we met were wonderful and we felt like we were with family. We had the "chuckwagon" room downstairs and were traveling with our friend. The room sleeps 6, but with only one bathroom, it might be a bit tough. I think it would be fun to stay in the outside chuckwagon, but it was too late in the season. The sun shining on the new fallen snow mountain tops was amazing!
Not too far from town, so you can go to dinner. Tell Jerry you want to "save your soap box"! He will explain it to you! Have fun, pardner!
