En route from Yellowstone to the Bighorn Mountains in Sept we stayed one night at Big Bear. Our host was charming and friendly and put us on the top deck of the new build block, completed four months. The room had a cabin feel, but was spacious with TV microwave and fridge, but ladies, be aware, no hairdryer. The bed was lovely and comfortable and the furniture was nice and rustic. The bathroom perfectly clean and new. The motel was easy to locate being right next to Old Trail Town, which is well worth a visit. Our host suggested Cassies for supper, which uis just up the road. We went there and had a great evening with good food. We paid $79 92 inc tax for this room for one night.

Bill and Jodie (owners) were very accomadating and helpful. I like when you don't feel weird when having to ask questions or favors. They made us feel welcome and appreciated our stay. The rooms were very comfortable if you don't like all the "extra" stuff. There are no microwaves, hairdryers, refridgerators or anything like that, but we like it that way when going out west. All we had a cooler and that was good enough. Also the price was exceptional! I recommend this motel to anyone visiting Cody, WY.

After camping in Yellowstone for a few days this was a good stop to do some laundry and unwind by the pool. Big clean rooms, lovely pool and large wooden chairs to sit outside and relax in. Good price for the time of year also.

I wish we'd still had little kids to enjoy the big bear out front and the playground on the premises. The owners of this motel really make guests feel welcome. They accept pets and the rooms are clean with microwaves and fridges in some of them. They also have wifi available to those who wish to use it. This is not downtown, but that was one of the blessings we enjoyed. We had a safe, quiet rest. Across the street, you will find the best breakfast ever at a reasonable price at Our Place. The waitresses were wonderful. So on the busy road to Yellowstone, we enjoyed a good night's rest at a very reasonable price and the motel owner directed us to this great local eatery.
