“Generous Hospitality, Great Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2010

We stayed with Jim and Mary for just one night on our way from Denver to Yellowstone and really wished we'd had time for a longer stay. Mary was fantastic in providing advice when we were planning our brief Cody stopover, recommended and booked a great restaurant (Wyoming Rib and Chop) as well as advising us to visit the last night of the rodeo (unmissable). We stayed in the Bunk House which was very comfortably furnished, immaculately clean and cozy (outside it was getting cold in the evening). Breakfast was delicious and Jim and Mary were great hosts ensuring that all guests were involved in the breakfast chat. Lambright Place was in the heart of town, so naturally there was a bit of traffic noise (not much though) and this was compensated by the great hospitality as well as the presence of a mother and baby deer in the garden during breakfast.

“Wonderful Hosts and Excellent Breakfast!”

My family and I stayed in the Bunkhouse and were quite impressed. It was just across a flagstone walk from the main house. It was very clean and quite spacious. We all appreciated the extra space after a week cramped in a car and staying in different hotels throughout Jackson and Yellowstone. The bunkhouse can sleep 5 people very comfortably. There was a mini refrigerator, microwave and TV. The main house is beautiful. I love historic houses. We were able to tour the other rooms which would be quite nice for couples. The B&B was just a block off of main street and we were able to easily walk to the nearby restaurants and stores.

Ken and Mary are gracious hosts. We all enjoyed gathering around the table with the other guests the following morning for breakfast at 8am. Mary is a fantastic cook and Jim was always ready to fill our coffee cups. None of us wanted to end the conversation-but we needed to get back into Yellowstone (Cody is 50 miles from East entrance), for the last day of the trip. We hope to return.

“Wonderful hosts in a (surprisingly) fun town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2009

Although the owners are friends of ours, we have stayed in B&B's before and they are the warmest hosts to all their guests. They make a very nice breakfast and in the style where every guest eats at the same time at the same table. The rooms are charming and the backyard is a little oasis. Very convenient location to downtown Cody and an exceptional (Buffalo Bill Cody) museum.

The price is very reasonable and Jim (one of the owners) is happy to take you fishing if you have the time.

“Delightful, comfortable, and delicious!”

in addition to Cody being the perfect spot to stay en route from the Badlands to Yellowstone National Park, the Lambright Place was the perfect place to spend the night. Mary and Jim were wonderful hosts, and made us feel right at home. The B&B is a couple of blocks to the fun to walk main street. They suggested the evening rodeo, which was much fun. They suggested the absolutely beautiful and so very well done Buffalo Bill Historic Center, in which we could have spent an entire day, instead of just the morning we left. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, and the room was quiet and comfortable.

“Comfortable and welcoming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2009

My first experience at a B&B.

We booked a room for three adults, but the owners thought we would be more comfortable in the Bunk House and they put us there instead. It was very thoughtful of them and we appreciated it.

You have to wake up at 8am for breakfast, so don't be late.

If you are in a rush, this place is not for you. Conversation with other guests and the owner is expected at the breakfast table. And stuff like history and art is covered. Come prepared or keep quiet and learn like I did. ;)

Free street parking. No wifi, but there are at least three unprotected networks that I managed to detect and got Internet access.
