Called for directions on how to get to motel when we arrived in town. Front desk wasn't very specific (didn't seem to be too familiar with the town?) Asked a firefighter on the street, he turned us in the wrong direction. We finally made our way back and found the motel on our own.
Must admit, motel looked better than it had appeared on the internet. However, front desk staff was very confused. Put us in a room, then called us back to the desk, informing us they had made a mistake in our room and room charges....which had to be reprocessed on our credit card. We were actually in some other guest's reserved room, but they allowed us to stay. (Don't guess the other guest ever knew the difference).
There was no breakfast offered in lobby. Lots of pictures of hunted big game, but when asked , they said some of the animals had not been taken in that area. Why would you show pictures that weren't relative to the area?
We locked ourselves out of the room when we left the first time because we pushed the door knob button. Were told later by the staff, not to do that but just to pull the door shut. There had been no explanation at the front desk nor any signs posted to that effect in the room. Were we supposed to just know it??
Only one key was given to us at check-in, we had to ask for a second.
It just seemed we had to deal with a lot of confusion during our stay.
Good points: room was very clean, location was close to town but quiet.
If we ever go back, I would probably opt to stay at one of the Chain motels up the street. Maybe the staff would have it more "together".

As the new owners, the easiest way to locate us is we are on the Eastern end of Sheridan (opposite of BBHC), just past the pharmacy. Stay straight on Sheridan and you'll see our sign.
The lobby has been painted and remodeled. Our doors do automatically lock for safety reasons, but we have an extra key, should you need it. Happy to hear you enjoyed your room and had a nice nights sleep. Thank you!
