We checked in late for a one-night-stay. Reception closed soon after our check in. Room was full of little flying, jumping bugs that allowed for little sleep that night. Our complaint the next morning to the receptionist made the 'owner' appear who met our complaints with arrogance, stoic silence, no apologies or good-will offers. Receptionist mentioned that they had the exterminater in this room the week before.

The room was good but a little bit expensive for what offers. No internet, no microwave in the room.

I checked into this motel on Saturday, June 26, 2010. Although the parking spaces were numbered, I was not told to park in any particular space at check-in. When I went to check-out, my vehicle had been towed! Management had made no effort to contact me in my room to ask me to move the vehicle. There are less than 30 rooms at this place. All they had to do was call each occupant and ask if the vehicle was theirs and they didn't even do that. This cost me a towing charge of $180.00! If I didn't live in another state I would sue these fools in small claims court!

Called for directions on how to get to motel when we arrived in town. Front desk wasn't very specific (didn't seem to be too familiar with the town?) Asked a firefighter on the street, he turned us in the wrong direction. We finally made our way back and found the motel on our own.
Must admit, motel looked better than it had appeared on the internet. However, front desk staff was very confused. Put us in a room, then called us back to the desk, informing us they had made a mistake in our room and room charges....which had to be reprocessed on our credit card. We were actually in some other guest's reserved room, but they allowed us to stay. (Don't guess the other guest ever knew the difference).
There was no breakfast offered in lobby. Lots of pictures of hunted big game, but when asked , they said some of the animals had not been taken in that area. Why would you show pictures that weren't relative to the area?
We locked ourselves out of the room when we left the first time because we pushed the door knob button. Were told later by the staff, not to do that but just to pull the door shut. There had been no explanation at the front desk nor any signs posted to that effect in the room. Were we supposed to just know it??
Only one key was given to us at check-in, we had to ask for a second.
It just seemed we had to deal with a lot of confusion during our stay.
Good points: room was very clean, location was close to town but quiet.
If we ever go back, I would probably opt to stay at one of the Chain motels up the street. Maybe the staff would have it more "together".
