I know you're supposed to start out with a compliment before offering critism, so I will say, that the staff were down to earth and very friendly. Unfortunately, after checking in our room, I was pretty tempted to ask if I could exchange my room and board for a good ol'fashioned cleaning. The rooms weren't the worst we experienced on our 5,000 mile family road trip...but they were the second worst. The rooms were just grimy,it really just needed a good scrub down. But the most disgusting part was the huge dried, unwashed blood stain on the underside of the cover blanket and the small blood puddle on the bathroom floor. I get how the blanket could have been missed, even though that incredibbly nasty, but did they not mop inbetween guests either...eww.
The breakfast was blah...felt like a "freebie."
As a family of many small children, our expectations are simple: A Clean Safe Room. Sorry Super 8 of Cheyenne, you just didn't deliver.
