I had read the reviews and when I reserved a room requested a room opposite the RR tracks. There are tracks on the west and south sides and we were in the NE corner of the building. I did hear some trains but it was not really disturbing.
Most important was the cleanliness of the room. It was almost perfect and a thorough inspection reveiled no bugs.
The area around the motel is open and undeveloped so I had a secure feeling.Nearby is a cluster of other motels, rest.'s,and other commerce.
The lobby computer wasn't working and the shower diverter was tricky to operate. Otherwise everything was fine.

We enjoyed our stay. During the night I heard only one train pass by and it did not sound a horn. The breakfast was good.

This is the best motel we have stayed in. Everyone ALWAYS had a SMILE on their faces and bent over backwards to help us!!! The room was clean, neat, and comfortable (and did not smell of carpet shampoo!), . We stayed two nights and would have stayed longer if we could have.

I do not recommend to stay in that motel.
First of all, the Super 8 in Cheyenne is next to the rail track, and the trains whistled all night long. So it was impossible to sleep.
Furthermore, the room was dirty, and, although we asked for a non smoker room, the room and the hallway smelled of smoke strongly.
