Other then my husband, Kenneth Perry slipping and falling on the ice by one of the entrance doors, we really enjoyed staying at the mote. I would like to see more safety of the guest as far as making sure all sidewalks and door entrances are cleared of any ice and/or snow.

I'll start by saying that this hotel was not one of the worst, I've ever stayed at. It just is simply below average. We found the rooms small. We found the hallways narrow and cramped. The cleanliness standard was less than at other LaQuinta Inns that I have observed. The breakfast room is small. The continental breakfast offerings are limited.

The hotel is not in a nice place. Its on the outskirts of town. Its located in a tract where about all one will find are a couple of other chain hotels and restaurants, a gas station or two, and a couples of bars. La Quinta should not be blamed for the fact that parts of Cheyenne, Wyoming are bleak and barren.

It seemed to me that they either didn't have a public internet terminal or I was unable to use it for some reason. I can't remember.

In any event, if you are traveling to Cheyenne, I'd look for better lodging. If you do get stuck here though, its not the end of the world. Just make your stay short and move on.

Nothing good to report here. Filthy conditions and very dated facility! If you have a pet, be prepared for it to be filthy too. The underbed experience is gross! There is no pet area outside. Poop is everywhere amongst the weeds. Even the internet had problems. Spent a considerable amount of time getting on wirelessly. Not a prob at the previous Laquinta's. What I took away from this experience is to check all reviews online. Now I do it!

Positive things to note: good & friendly staff, comfy bed, good location, reliably decent breakfast buffet.

The not so good things to note: very old hotel that does not look like it's well maintained, our room was not very clean, new flat screens in all rooms but not all the channels work (MTV, TNT, Weather Channel were all not working), thin walls that allow you to hear everything going on around your room.

Rather disappointing from a La Quinta hotel which are usually very consistent in these areas mentioned above. Our room was not only dirty but also had lots of broken tiles, worn out furniture, and a few dents in the walls. Some simple cosmetic updates would make a world of difference and would help to improve people's first impressions of their rooms when they first walk in.
