I am currently staying here for a conference. Room and front desk service were alright. The food and restaurant are horrible. The service at the restaurant was terrible, slow and brought the wrong food. The food was practically inedible. The food catered for our meeting is so bad that people could not eat it and many are not staying for the banquet dinner because it is so awful. We arrived late our first night and decided to eat here since I assumed a large hotel like the Holiday Inn would have a decent restaurant and chef. I have never had a worse experience with food in a restaurant or at a conference.
I would never recommend that anyone have any event here that involves food of any kind, it will make you sick!!!! I am worried about eating at the banquet tonight.

The reviews below all point out that the public areas are soiled and in desperate need of renovation. I'd agree with that evaluation. But the most important thing we wanted was a good room and that we most definitely received. Is it a 3* hotel. Certainly not. Maybe 2* at best. When the public areas are redone it may warrant 3* again. We were pleased with the restaurant. The staff were pleasant and we were able to use a coupon we received when we checked in due to being Priority Club members. One sad point was listening to the receptionist speak to another guest in what sounded like a very rude manner. Again, not suitable for a 3* hotel.

Hotel was and probably is the best value in Cheyenne. Rooms are nice. Hotel staff friendly. Laundry room on the first floor, yuck. Restaurant? Well I'd rather go to the gas station next door and take my chances.

Yes, I can recommend this hotel, which is conveniently located just off I-80 and on US-85, making it easy to get directly into Cheyenne.

There are two cautions. First, while you do have the hotel restaurant, everything else in the neighborhood is fast food. Other sit-down style restaurants (such as IHOP and Perkins) are downtown -- about 5 miles away...although getting to them is easy. I also noted noise from the interstate in my room, though it was not serious enough to bother my sleep (but then again, I sleep with a somewhat noisy CPAP machine).

It was a little difficult to locate the luggage carts when I checked in, but aside from that, all was well in the hotel. I had a queen suite -- a small sitting room with widescreen television, a nicely sized an well-functioning bathroom, and a bedroom that was a bit compact (but sufficient), extremely comfortable bed (!!!), a nice desk, and another widescreen t.v. The internet connection was a little fussy getting connected, but reasonably fast wifi.

Two things to rave about -- the comfortable bed (!!!) and a reasonable price (!!). I will stay here again on future vacations.
