When I booked this place sight unseen and showed up, I was really a bit concerned. We chose this place because we were going hiking in the Big Horn mountains and this place allowed pets, was reasonable in price, and a friend had stayed there years ago.

I think this place was far better than we initially expected. The service was great, particularly for the price, and was exceptionally clean. The only issue was that the rooms were a bit dated and the mattress we had made some noise as we slept. However, I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this to others.

We are seniors travelling on a budget. We needed a place for an overnight stay and selected the Wyo Motel on price and location. We were not wrong. On arrival the manager and his wife greeted us warmly and on finding that we were visitors to the US could hardly do enough for us. They quickly furnished us with brochures of where to eat and what to do, and were at pains to explain that the breakfast was just coffee and sweet rolls,which was just fine for us.
The room was small but clean, with both air-con and heating, perfectly adequate for an overnight stay. Ther was a good steak house conveniently situated just across the road where we had a nice evening meal. We enjoyed a quiet, comfortable night's sleep. Despite being quite close to the road, traffic noise was not a problem.
The Wyo motel is good value for money. We would stay there again and recommend it.

I stayed here one night in early September. Wyo Motel is not inviting from the outside. I passed it several times while looking for a place that was in my budget, but finally stopped to inquire and was offered a look at a room by a very nice man, the new owner. The room was pleasant, the bathroom large, newly tiled and clean. I had my dog with me and the outside access was perfect. I prefer being able to drive up to my door and step into the room.
The new owners are personable and friendly and anxious to improve. Great attitude and I'd recommend the WYO Motel to anyone looking for a decent place to stay.

Really enjoyed staying at this independent/mom & pop. Very clean, friendly staff, may have even been the owners, not sure but they were extremely accommodating. Prices were right in the ball park for the time of year (July). The best part was the 3Queen room with a kitchen. We have 3 teens (2 girls, 1 boy) and finding a motel with 3 beds is nearly impossible. If ever in the area again, will definitely stay again.
