first of all when i booked my reservation by calling them, shortly after that my credit card number was stolen and used for tickets to Columbia, campground mgmt. confirmed they do hand write the credit card number down. anyway bank investigates that, but im not sure by coincidence, but there were people from Columbia and south America staying there, and we saw someone (maybe landskeeper) rifling through the garbage while we were there, for what i do not know, maybe my suspicions were already heightened because i was so pissed i had to get a new card right before vacation. but something was askew.watch your belongings here i would say. not that thats a derogotory comment on people from South America, there's good and bad everywhere..
but overall we loved the campground albeit the pot smoking and loud polka music. i wouldn't consider on a busy holiday weekend unless your a redneck partier (which there were there too when we stayed) or love loud Mexican music. ( and we are Mexican so i can speak to that)
this is a very different atmosphere than what were used to in campgrounds, but we were gone all day with the great ticket deals they offered. and the game room was great for the kids, and the pool was nice. showers and bathrooms always clean. staff was helpful and friendly, the campsites are really close to each other so that's a pain on busy times. mini golf was fun. i would go again...despite the first experience. but never on a holiday its just expected that loud would happen.
