We are new seasonals at this campground. I am surprised at all the negativity in these reviews. The staff has been so welcoming and helpful. We spend many weekends at the pool and have not witnessed to rudeness or foul language at all. People are having fun, playing cards at the various tables. We come here to relax and unwind with our friends and families. I don't see the harm in sitting around the campfire with our children, cooking smores and actually having a conversation with them. If laughter and talking is what you hear and you have a problem with that...you have a problem. There are plenty of motels in town that may be quieter.As far as people driving all over with golf carts at all hours of the night. Guess I never saw much of that either. It seems that a lot of blame is being placed on the seasonals but what about the "weekenders" that leave garbage laying around the pool area and make a mess in the bathrooms. Or the ones that leave all their trash laying around their campsite when they check out? I can't forget to mention the ones that just go walking straight through our campsites as if they own them. These are OUR sites we pay for them..stay out.

Also...please stop blaming management for the flies, the smell from a nearby farmer's field. Management can't really control this.

I have read the negative comments about Arrowhead and am truly shocked. The staff at Arrowhead is friendly, cooperative, quick to respond and are down right wonderful people. We have been treated with nothing but kindness and friendship. Our children love the activities which include the pool which is always clean and warm, and the Friday night movies, the hay rides, tennis courts, basketball courts, shuffle board and mini-golf. Campers take great pride in their campsites and always keep things neat and tidy and clean up after themselves at the pool. We have had nothing but fun, fun, fun since we joined the Arrowhead family. For a campground the size of Arrowhead, the staff has done nothing but make this place work, despite the ridiculous complaints about flies and bugs (it is an outdoor recreation, even Arrowhead cannot control mother nature). Being so close to the Dells is also a huge draw. You can join the hustle and bustle of the Dells or enjoy your weekend poolside with a beverage laughing with other people. The choices are endless. I highly recommend Arrowhead. You can't please all the people all of the time, but Arrowhead does a nice job of pleasing most of the people most of the time.

I don't know what some of these people are talking about but I did not see any kids racing around in golf carts. I asked at the office and only licensed drivers 18 years or older are allowed to drive the carts. This is a beautiful, clean, well managed campground. Security is not there 24/7 but frankly is not even necessary. There are lots of activities and fun things for families to do. Frankly, some people should not go camping. Everyone must share the space. If you want quiet and solitude, you should stay home, in your house.

Kids loved racing around in the golf cart (cheaper than the Dells go-carts), great party place-- never saw their "security" so we partied all night!, dirty bathrooms/portapotty, very little in the "store" so stop at Wally's, game room is play at your own risk-- kids lost lots and clerk said "too bad, no refunds", hay ride is fun but it fills fast so get there early, "kdis crafts/activities" were a joke
