Online the campground looked terrific, but immediately after arriving we noticed (hard not to) that we couldn't even talk to each other without yelling and we were only 5' apart.
The noise from the interstate was deafening... There were lots of beatiful trees but... on the lower level we had a clear view of the interestate less than a 100' feet away and all day and night long we actually went to town to get ear plugs for the rest of our stay.
The pool looked great from a distance, upon delving into it though you quickly realized that saltwater was being used for a reason, black scum along the tiles. The whole week not once was there anyone cleaning the pool... ewww....
Top it off with people canon balling over your head constantly into the pool, chaos everywhere, grabbing the 3 year old up into our arms quickly as the drunks whipped through the campgrounds on the rented golf carts nearly hitting the kids... and nobody doing anything about it.
Great place to party... if you could turn your music up louder than the interstate which many did.
Definately not a family campground, more like "an escape from the city lets get drunk and party till we puke campground for the idiots who could care less about their neighbours.
Our headaches went away each morning after waking and rushing out of the campground to the quiet downtown of the Dells where there were only a few thousand people and cars moving about... soo much quieter than the jellystone noise factory. :(
Ohh... and to top it all off... no... internet is not available in all areas of the campground like advertised, only at the top of the hill by the pool. Not that it mattered, tried out a movie one night on the laptop and couldn't hear it with the volume cranked up and the ears 6" from the speakers due to the noise... oh well... never again will we stay in a yogi bear campground...
