This was a very nice hotel we stayed in July of 2011. Clean room clean nice pool's inside pool an outside pool. Fun for kids an adult'd had a nice little water slide for the outdoor pool. Pool's cleaned every night an morning. Nice game room by the pool. Has a pool table foss ball table air hockey table and a few video game's. If you have a boat they have dock space. Nice little picnic area down by the lake with picnic tables bbq grill fire pit's. Sandy little beach area.we had a room overlooking the lake that's the way to go. Otherwise you can get a room looking at the parking lot. If your staying here you need the water view room. They have balcony's with chair's an. Table. DON'T forget to ask for the discount card for attractions at the front desk. It will get you buy one get one free for food an attractions. Had a great time. DON'T let other reviews change your mind. The people who complain probably stay at 6 gold star resorts this resort is for people looking to have a great time in an awesome atmosphere for all age's. Would definitely go back.

This hotel is just as pictured on their website. The location was right on Lake Delton and we watched the Tommy B ski show a couple times from our room balcony. The hotel was somewhat dated in the decor, but everything was clean and in working order. We had a jacuzzi suite with a lakeview balcony and we really enjoyed it. It was just a 5-10 minute drive to where all the stuff goes on and about that far to drive to the casino. Having said that, the place was really quiet and peaceful at night. The outdoor pool area was nice with plenty of chairs and loungers. You don't have a bar/restaurant here and it doesn't have the perks the bigger, newer hotels offer but you also won't pay their outrageous rates nor deal with the crowds. This hotel was much more reasonable and well worth a stay. I don't think you'll be disappointed!!!

Was searching hard for a place near water and inexpensive. Since River Inn has been consumed by the "Olympia" conglomerate, (and their pool was not suppose to be working anyway) We lucked into finding the Cliffside Resort...

I really like the Place. Wonderful Hotel, great Location, price and excellent staff.

I have only 1- caveat...

DO NOT get a room near that darn water slide!!!

We had the room 211 and let me tell you whomever decided to put the water slide so close to the rooms made a huge error!

The Water slide(basically) runs all-day, into the night as kids and adults-
(rightfully so)-

enjoy themselves.

If your room is near the slide, you cannot hear yourself think as kids and adults screamed with delight as they used that slide all-day-long.

(in your room) with the doors open, you cannot enjoy the lovely view of the Lake and The Tommy Bartlett show for the noise of the slide.

Before anyone thinks my experience was all-negative, I beg to differ. I'm just warning folks to get a room AWAY from the Water Slide if you want a little more tranquility in your room....

It was so darn hot when we visited. we decided to check-out the indoor pool. The pool was empty so, me and my wife enjoyed the Pool area and relaxed in the whirlpool area. (The HIGHLIGHT of the trip!).

Cliffside Resort has a great location and is priced right for the person on a budget.
I recommend it to everyone!

(if they just could've built that Water slide on the opposite of the pool- AWAY from the rooms) :)

We stayed at cliffside at the end of june with our 2kids. Its an older hotel and they still use real keys, not cards, which our kids thought was awesome. Rooms are exceptionally clean and nice. Make sure you get a room with lakeside view, usually $10 more. Well worth it. You cant beat the beauty of the view! You can watch tommy bartlet water show from your balcony or the main deck by swimming pool. Bring binoculars if you want closer view. The area is beautiful and relaxing. Highly recommend. Only thing we didnt like was 10:00 checkout because we liked it so much and the beds are very old but still comfortable. You will enjoy your stay!
