Hi. Myself, my wife, 2 year old and my in laws spent 4 nights at the Kalahari Resort. We stayed at Lodge Room in Sands Building which we would recommend for party of 4 or 5. Room was big with full kitchen (pots, pans, silverware) and living-dining room and pull out sofa. Other room was bedroom with king size bed. Enough room for us. Room were very clean and spacious. Resort itself offers a lot. From water park (great slides and playground for little ones) thru game rooms, theme park (go-karts, arcade, climbing wall, bowling, mini golf) to cinema. Several restaurants and bars offer great food. The best part - it's all under one roof!
I suggest if u stay for more than 2 night get a package for one night with theme park admission and dining credit. It's worth it!
All the staff were very friendly and helpful.
We would recommend the place to anyone.

We rented one of the Private Villas for my friends bachelor party. This place was amazing as we had 5 bedroom, 5 Baths and and outside Jacuzzi (only open during late spring and late fall or when it get to cold out.

Just got back a couple of hours ago, we went with our 11 yo, 2 1/2,and 4 months old boys, it was excellent. we are tired as dogs because the kids didn't stop once, lol.

We rented a suite in the sands building. It had a kitchen, with a b-fast bar, a dining room, living room, with two comfy chairs, a leather sofa that opens up to a queen size bed, and a gas fireplace with a timer, which we loved.

When they tell you "fully equipped kitchen" they are not kidding, that kitchen had everything you might need!!!! We like to make our own pizzas and brought our pizza pan and cutter, well they had that, they had from measuring cups and spoons to wine glasses, everything that you can imagine, you seriously only need to bring the food.

Everybody was so incredibly nice I was amazed, the first day we left a tip for our housekeeper and she left the nicest note, I had to put it in my purse and bring it back home <3 if you have a suite with a kitchen housekeeper will put your dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run it (yes, there even is a dishwasher)

The indoor waterpark is great. Our 4 month old was not ready to enjoy it yet ;) but our 2 yo and our 11 yo were amazed, the new kiddie place is just great! Do bring some sort of thick body lotion, maybe even hydrocortizone, my boys and my skin were a mess at the end of the second day, nothing that a bit of cortizone and Aquafor didn't take care of.

We also enjoyed the theme park, it is extra money but if you buy the wrist band at the beginning of your stay is good for t he reminder. Arcades games are not covered with wristband, those you need to pay extra.

We didn't try any restaurants because is a nightmare to sit the youngest boys for longer than 10 minutes, that's why we got a room with kitchen, but did order room service and it was very good and fast, they even have wine by the glass or bottle, at restaurants price of course.

Check in took longer than expected, even though we were at the Sands building where lines are shorter, but check out was a breeze, they let all the papers under the door, I just signed it and dropped it off by the front desk.

It was lots of fun for the boys, we will definitely come back soon!

my wife and I took our 9 yr old son 5 yr old son and our 2 yr old daughter to the wilderness resort in the Wisconsin dells on a vacation in January or 2012 and right away where very unhappy, the water parks are way to far from each other, the hallway floor to all the rooms are always wet due to this, and the water was freezing, advertisement says alway 88 degrees,,,,, nothing could be farther fron the truth, So my wife and I decided to thrown a fit at the front desk to get refunded our money for the 2nd and 3rd nights that we where going to stay and left and went to the Kalahari, we have stayed at both of their properties ( wisconsin dells and Sandusky Oh) and they never disapoint, NEVER DISAPOINT,,,,, We will return as much as we can....
