Its a Super 8 standard issue motel. If you are looking for a place to stay at a reasonable rate, then this is a place to choose. If you are looking for a Marriot property, there are a couple to chose from... but then spend more. We were coming to visit friends and family and still have a place to return to at nite to rest. This motel was fine for that purpose for the price.

Clean room, but needs a face lift. Bed was way to soft for us. Good (free) continential breakfast.

There aren't a lot of choices in Racine, and the Super8 is actually in a fairly convenient location. The room was clean, bed reasonably comfortable for a budget motel, and free wi-fi was fine if you found the right connection (there were several connections to choose from for the whole place). Somehow I got an accessible room, so the showerhead was at about chest level -- made it awkward to stand under the water and rinse off. Check-in was slow (I stood around waiting five minutes, then used the rest room, and then waited another five minutes or so), and no effort was made to be friendly. Breakfast was a little on the low-end (tiny shrink-wrapped danish? really?), but I was fine with cereal and a yogurt. I wouldn't rush back, but I wouldn't say no either.

I have stayed at this hotel at least 3 times and have always been pleased. Remember I titled this best value in Racine. Some hotels in Racine $150+/nite! For about $50/nite this is a great value. I've always been pleased with the cleanliness, staff always pleasant, continental breakfast is satisfactory. Never any problems and will return.
