“Nice Best Western”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

When in the central Wisconsin area, we normally stay at the Comfort Inn in Plover. Seeing favorable reviews on Trip Advisor for the Best Western Plover Inn and a cheaper rate, we decided to try out this new hotel for our one night stay in January.
Hotel opened during the summer of 2011 at the Hwy 54 exit off of I 39. It offers a trendy décor with large rooms, comfortable beds, free Wi-Fi, and complementary breakfast. Rooms on the first floor do hear noise from the rooms above as well as the doors have a one inch gap so some hall noise also infiltrates the room. Lighting in bathroom could be better. Matt at the front desk was welcoming and pleasant at check in. Rooms also have a small microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board and coffee maker. Did not use the small pool facility. Breakfast offered the normal fare including hard boiled eggs, waffles, cereal, canned and fresh fruit, rolls and bread. The front desk clerk covers the desk and replenishing the breakfast area which at times had no cups, hard boiled eggs, plates or utensils. Better if one of the morning maids came in around 7:30 to help cover the breakfast area prior to cleaning rooms. Our room’s toilet (119) was not properly installed so it rocked on the floor, which will soon crack the tile. I feel comfortable recommending either the Comfort Inn of the Best Western and would probably make my decision based on the best price.

Room Tip: Second floor rooms have less noise

“Excellent Property”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 January 2012

We stayed at this hotel 7 Jan and it far exceeded our expectations. The hotel is brand new, very clean, the beds and pillows are wonderful, room lighting is quite adequate, microwave coffee maker and refrigerator in rooms, flat screen tv, decorated contemporary(sleek) nicely. Room was quiet with no outside noise. Breakfast offered excellent variety (waffles, bagels, english muffins, fresh fruit, assorted cereal, biscuits and gravy, toast, donuts, yogurt). Located right off Hwy 39/54 for easy access. Did not utilize the pool area or workout room. Front desk staff was professional and saw to their guests needs. The hotel offers a winter snowmobile rate. Will DEFINATELY stay again. Best property for the price we've stayed at in a VERY LONG time.

“Gorgeous New Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 December 2011

Beautiful new hotel in a convenient location at the crossroads of Hwys 39 & 54. Set back far enough to avoid road noise however. Hotel has beautiful modern decor and is very clean. Pool area is nice, if a bit small. Room had a spacious bathroom and was very comfortable. It is an exit south of major stores and restaurants, so there is not a lot within walking distance of this hotel. If you don't mind that, this is a fantastic place to stay.

“Great new hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2011

We stayed at this Best Western, which opened in May 2011, on a recent trip to the Stevens Point area. It's right off the highway and an easy distance from any of the cities and towns nearby. The staff was friendly, and we were very pleased with the room and the hotel! The room was very comfortable. The heating system worked well, the flat screen TV was great, and it was nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room, and even an oversized jacuzzi bathtub. Wow! We didn't use the pool, but the pool area looked very nice, with a basic rectagular pool and separate jacuzzi. This hotel is near a couple older restaurants, but within easy reach of more exotic fare as well.

“Wonderful place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

I'm not a person to rave about hotels, but I felt that I had to say something about my stay with Best Western. My husband and I arrived on a Friday to attend a wedding with our two boys. Elizabeth Inn is right next door to Best Western, but it was too run down looking for our tastes. My husband was greeted courteously when inquiring about the rooms. We were not disappointed upon arrival to our room. A nice flat widescreen T.V., coffee maker, microwave, good sized bathroom. The kids were thrilled with the cable. Four big fluffy pillows on each queen bed, needless to say, it was a very comfortable night. The room was spotless, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Breakfast was good, scrambled eggs, sausage links, your usual juices, cereals, coffee, bagels and toast. The nice perk was a make your own waffle maker. I would definitely stay here again. The price and accomodation was unbeatable.

Room Tip: Stay on the second floor level so you don't get bothered by noises from the other occupants upst...
