My wife and I stayed here for four nights in May 2010 to visit my family. The room price is a little high for a Super 8...we paid 75.00 a night. The room had a queen bed, TV with digital cable box....plenty of channels to choose from. I liked the soap dispenser in the shower instead of having bar soap. The staff was very friendly, we had "Do not disturb" sign up the entire stay, and the maid never bothered us. On the day of check out, the manager allowed us to check out late.
Our room had a sliding glass door, which was a first for a hotel room that I've experienced. Some rooms had two stories and a balcony for $130.00 a night.
The bedspread needed to be washed, as it had a smell to it... so we removed it from the bed. Hopefully this was an isolated problem.
The high speed internet was not functional from our room. We were in another building that is down the hill from the main hotel. In order for me to get a Wi Fi signal, I had to walk up the hill until I could actually check my email, etc. This was a problem and the front desk didn't know what to do. Another guest was out in the yard trying to get a signal for his laptop, also.
In conclusion, it was a good experience, but the price could be about 20 bucks lower...I can't really see why the room was almost 80 dollars a night. Also, they need to extend their wireless internet range to cover the building at the bottom of the hill on their property.
