We (family of 3) booked a nonsmoking room to stay while attending the 2008 EAA Air Show. The pictures on the Internet looked nice and we were assured by the reservationist that we would have a lovely nonsmoking suite. When we arrived, we were given a very dirty, smoking room. There was dirt on the floor, the counter was dirty, the couch was filthy, and the general condition of the suite was old, outdated and filthy. The exterior of the Inn was rundown. It was a complete misrepresentation! The manager was rude and would not talk to us, leaving us to talk to us a newly hired receptionist, who didn't know what to do. We did not stay there, even though the Oshkosh area hotels were completely booked. We were willing to buy sleeping bags at Wal-mart and sleep in the car or the parking lot to avoid staying at the Fish Inn. There is a possibility that the Inn could have cleaned up their act since the 2008 EAA Air Show, but buyer beware!
