Got our room via HotWire, so did not know which New Berlin hotel we were in til I ponied up the $.Initially disappointed, as I knew this hotel's standard rooms had double beds, which we are no fan of. But, the room was spacious, fresh and clean. Nice to have fridge and microwave. Decent waffle/bagel/cereal/rolls type breakfast bar. Front desk staff always pleasant. High speed internet in room handy, and computer and printer available in front lobby. (we needed that for airline online checkin). On the down side, when we checked in, we were initially given a king room. We'd have loved this if not traveling with a teen who needed a place to sleep, too. The Hotwire site states that you'll get a room that will accommodate the number of people you tell them are in your party. The hotel staff denied knowing what kind of room we'd need. SO, if you use Hotwire, or perhaps any other such site, call the hotel directly once your reservation is paid for, to make sure they place you in a room you can actually use. The hotel desk person said that if they had been fully booked, then we would have been stuck with the first room. Not a problem for hubby and me, but our teen wouldn't care for 3 nights in a recliner.
If your rom does not have a 'do not disturb' sign, get one from the front desk(I had to get one). The cleaning staff starts knocking on doors mighty early at this hotel. Despite the double beds, we'd stay here again--good location off the highway. Good accessibility to restaurants(Applebee's and Texas Roadhouse-both walking distance), and fast food-tho you'd have to get in your car for that.
