Member of the Preferred Hotel group. Great location within walking distance of Art Museum of Milwaukee, Discovery World, Water Street attractions. Hotel was clean. Art deco design was disjointed - subtle in the lobby, taken to the extreme in the hallways and rooms with teal and peach. Our room was large and laid out well. No fireplace in our room. Bathroom was large with a very small corner shower. Heating unit in our room banged a night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was fine. Would stay here again if in Milwaukee.

Close to all river, lake front and water street attractions, near great paces to eat. Large rooms, unique stlye, large bath room only draw back was small corner prefab shower stall which was out of place for otherwise well designed space. Hepful staff. At night hotel bar is hopping, restaurant is charimg but food average so I would go to other place if hungry. Good value for 150 dollar weekend rate.

Rates were extremely reasonable and my room was spacious, well-appointed and I loved the soaking tub and the in-room fireplaces. PLUS, the staff was extremely helpful. What a treat! This was my first stay at Hotel Metro. It will not be my last!

I had hopes of some Art Deco design with this hotel. Unfortunately, it needs a little work on the inside. The service and staff was great. The room was large. The pink and sea foam green were a little too much and really is in need of some updates.
