The hotel is beautiful - Kilowatt restaurant is very good for breakfast. Toiletries were not replenished in our room one night - and when we ordered room service, the bill was outrageous. Not to mention we were told we got the cook mad because I ordered from the menu that was outdated but still in our room. That has happened twice in the past 6 months so perhaps they need to have their menus reprinted. We had the city view once and this time a river view...which I am not sure what that means as we saw no river in site. Other than that the stay was very comfortable and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

A very nice young woman named Catherine served me drinks both nights I stayed here. She arranged for one of her friends to come and educate me on the many scotches they have on their menu. She was very sweet, and made my stay in an unknown city much more enjoyable.

My wife and I decided to have a mini-vacation in our hometown. Milwaukee's best attributes are frequently not recognized by those who live here. We had such a wonderful time enjoying great service, food, and drink, we've decided to do this on a more regular basis, and always at this Intercontinental. The hotel lobby bar happy hour was fun and delicious, as was our dinner at Kilawat on the second floor. Thank you Intercontinental Milwaukee!

Our stay here was a very pleasant surprise, going beyond just comfort and services to adding a lot of style. The rooms, beds, and pillows are exceptionally comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The use of lighter trendy colors, unique woods, carpet colors, and lighting throughout the hotel make this property feel much different from comparable hotels. Rather than just style, this place has a feel of energy throughout. A great lobby level bar for drinks, and even a ping pong table on the first floor off the lobby! The Intercontinental adds fun to a nice hotel stay. And it is conveniently located to north downtown venues...Pabst Theater, Marcus Performing arts center, and the Bradley Center.
