Amazing service, amazing rooms, amazing structure and experience. This property embraces its history and heritage and that of the city. Murals are paint painted in the rooms, historical photos are captioned to provide context to the local stories and the lobby is filled with Harley and other Milwaukee memorabilia. While celebrating the history of the property and the city, the hotel doesn't hold back in the least in providing amazing luxury and amenities. Soft towels, bathrobes and linens help to create an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. I would stay here again anytime in a heartbeat.

After trying several other hotels and motels in the Milwaukee area, we found that this is just the most fun hotel in the area! The lobby, bar and restaurant areas are cozy and friendly. The staff are excellent, and the rooms are interesting and out of the ordinary. Great mini-bar in the room, and interesting artwork in the form of a huge wall mural.

My only complaint is that the bathrooms put design above function. The "rain shower" is really unpleasant to use, and the shallow sinks in the bathroom look cool and modern, but splash water all over when you try to use them.

But, everything else about the hotel is so great, we keep coming back in spite of the bathroom issues.

My husband and I stayed at the Iron Horse in March 2011 and again this week. Upon our arrival this time, our room had been given to someone, so they upgraded us to the best room in the house. Not only is this room the one featured in all their advertisements, but it's also where we spent our first night as newlyweds one year ago.

Supreme rooms, service, food and drink make the Iron Horse our favorite hotel hands down! We will come back here time and time again, because in all the traveling we've done, nationally and abroad, this is the best hotel you will find.

I have not stayed at a nicer hotel in the world! We booked this for $55 on Priceline and still received amazing service and overall experience.
