After reading these reviews. I figured...Why not express my opinion.. I have a "birds eyes view" of sorts. Now, see I am on what they call The MAIN Drag.. This is the road that will take you from the gate to the lake. No matter if your a seasonal or a weekender you will def travel past my lot to see the lake.. This is my home every weekend during the non-winter months. We have 2 children with usually a few tag alongs..lol...On the weekends they have activities & different themes for all ages.. On our weekend off WE don't like to worry about time HOWEVER all kids watch the clock waiting for the next activity! It’s so nice to see the kids do something other than PLAY video games! This campground houses over 600 sites at times, including the "weekender sites" which will include the tent sites. There are some secluded way and some by the pool..Whats your preference? You have plenty of space and nature.. You can DEFENITLY say that your 3 day weekends will be more crowded than other weekends! If you want to be alone for the weekend STAY HOME.. Of course good weather weekends, will be better than overcast weekends. Overall it is a great destination with close proximity to a lot of amenities. The pool is always well taken care of, the playgrounds are in well working order, the beach could use fresh sand, but is tolerable, the ponds are overgrown, during the right season good fishing tho..Golf carts are permitted in this park..Again this is large campground. Most respect the carts. However with anything there will be IDIOTS but WE all RESPECT each other..MOST follow the rules.. but like reality you CAN NOT prevent the Amateurs.. BUT WE LET THEM AWARE!
