The motel is in northwest suburb of Madison WI, fairly new, nice in-room whirlpool room with fridge and microwave, good selection of breakfast items. If you sign up for Club Carlson they send out e-mail notices of room discounts every couple of weeks. We were able to get this room for 35% off for a 2 night stay, which got the price down to $85 before all the taxes.

Arrived for a football weekend and enjoyed a great stay. The hotel is a few miles outside of Madison but rooms were very clean and since it's on University Drive out from Madison it's pretty easy to find. Breakfast was decent.

I stayed here with a friend who was having a surgical procedure at a medical facility across the street. Even though we arrived late in the evening (after 11 pm), the front desk clerk could not have been nicer. Friendly and a super easy check-in. It's also a very welcoming lobby with a friendly livingroom-type set up.

Our 1-BR suite was exactly what we had hoped for. The bedroom was in the back and had its own TV. With the door closed, my friend was able to get her rest after the procedure, and I was able to work (free Wi-Fi!), read, and watch the second TV in the living area, which also had a dining table and a fold-out couch. In between the living area and the bedroom, there was a small "kitchenette" area with a microwave and a mini fridge. This, too, was super useful, since my friend was on a restricted diet after her surgery.

The free breakfast worked well for me, everyone we encountered was lovely -- it really was just right for our three-day stay. This was my first time staying in a Country Inn & Suites property. I hadn't been sure what to expect (we really booked for location and the suite), but I will definitely seek out this chain again when traveling.
