Decent clean rooms, great location next to food and shopping. Staff friendly and helpful. Free shuttle to Epic and airport.

We stayed at the Garden Inn for 5 nights for a wedding in July, along with friends and relatives in an additional 32 rooms. The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds and a refrigerator and microwave. The facilities were well kept and the staff was great. They managed all the reservations without any problems and were always courteous and helpful. There is a small bar in the lobby, and when we asked about renting a room for a pre-wedding reception, they suggested we use the lobby and bar so we wouldn't have to pay for another room. It worked out very well, and the bartender volunteered to keep the bar open as long as we wanted. Overall, nice rooms, good facilities and great staff. We would definitely stay there again.

I always stay here when I am in Madison Wisconsin and it's just perfect! Great staff, always clean and nice ~ we love the pool and jacuzzi and even play some volleyball too. It's walking distance to great shops and Restaurants and their breakfasts are divine. I know you'll like it and it's reasonably priced ~ wonderful little place for family and friends to stay if you don't want them at your house:)..FUN..FUN..FUN!

Fantastic place to stay. Easy 2 hour trip from Chicago. Hotel is 10 minutes west of UW and downtown Madison. Middleton itself has a great family downtown of restaurants as well.
Hotel itself was so clean, rooms were nothing special but very well maintained. Pool was the reason we'll be back. our 2 and 4 yr old kids couldnt get enough of the splash pool area. The hotel itself sits walking distance next door to a strip mall of shops and food. I would have given this 5 stars except the breakfast didnt flow well. Instead of just buffet style you have to semi-order your breakfast with the exception of some doughnuts and cereal. With kids waiting 10-15 minutes for eggs or an omelette dropping $35 on breakfast for 4 at a hotel was something we only did once. Dennys sits seconds away which we did on our second day. Also had a wedding reception at the hotel which had us up all night but thats no fault of the hotel, just drunk loud people outside. Make sure you ask if there any events being planned before you book because this was the one issue of the whole trip we had. Breakfast aside this place is definite no brainer and well be back.
