Everything from the map to lake was exaggerated from their website. There is absolutely nothing to do at Bass Lake Campground. The Basketball court was one small block of cement, the swimming pool smelled and the water was salty, the lake was so small and dirty, I don't even know why they call it a lake and the pond had so much scum. The campsites were so close to each other that you could literally hear conversations. This place is also surrounded by RV's and trailers. I do not recommend this place. You cannot swim, there are no hiking trails...you will get bit by the mosquitoes and people are rude.

This was the worse camping I have EVER experienced! Absolutly NO Customer Services owners are rude, insulting and extremly disrespectful to their guests!

The pictures on the website were more appealing than what we found when we arrived for our overnight stay. The pond & lake were edged in green scum, there is no way we would have gone swimming in the lake. The volleyball area was a soggy yard area, the basketball area was some cement blocks lined up on the yard. The pool area was decent, we did have to scim the surface ourselves but got yelled at for doing it. The mosquitoes were really, really bad. We did get reprimanded for not cleaning our cabin, we were made to go back & sweep, mop & remake the plastic sheets on the beds so I guess they don't get changed after each guest? We were not made aware that housekeeping is not included in the price of the cabins. I would not stay here again nor would I encourage others.

Bass Lake campground is a great place! Very Clean and neat. We rented on of the basic cabins, small but it worked fine for our family. The only downside is the lake, its more like a small pond. You can see from one end to the other, so if you are thinking of boating it just won't work. There is a pool with a tiki bar. The staff was all very friendly. I recommend staying at Bass Lake.
