I was in La Crosse visiting friends and ended up needing to stay the night at the last minute. The front desk clerk was awesome - gave me a good rate and was just super helpful. The room was spacious - had a seperate bedroom and living room area, along with a kitchenette. I was able to park my vehicle in the lot next to the entrance. I will definately stay here again the next time I'm in town.

So not the first time I have stayed here. The location is why since it is a reasonable price and good location. As mentioned before the parking is $3 and that is a bit of a pain.

The service was good but the room was in need of some care. The paint was just starting to peel on the ceiling and toilet to 3-4 flushes to work. All the furniture was a little dinged up. So getting a little run down but easy walk to places to have a drink and some food really sums it up.

I stay in hotels frequently throughout the month, with rates comprable, if not less than this hotel. The accomodations were disgusting. Our bathroom had peeling wallpaper, filthy lights and a cracking sink. Not to mention MOLD at the top of the shower. If you continue on downstairs to the pool area, notice wires hanging out of the wall, rust and dust everywhere. The elevators were filthy. The sheets smelled and this place is SO RUN DOWN you will feel dirty leaving. When mentioning our dissatisfaction to the front desk, they said they "don't know" unless guests let them know. WHO DOESN'T KNOW WHEN THEIR HOTEL IS COMPLETELY RUN DOWN? Do not stay here.

Excellent location to see Historical Downtown LaCrosse, helpful staff and courteous, no surprises, except pay for parking $3. Clean and comfortable! Restaurant on sight and several nearby in historical buildings.
