We stayed at the Inn on Friday nite and were able to join the Mystery Dinner Party at the last minute. The hotel has a lovely lobby with fireplace and period furniture. Our room (206) had 2 beds, a lakeview and jacuzzi tub. What pleased us most was that the Inn had a personality. Yes, the walls are thin and some of the furnishings are worn, and if a shiny, new hotel is your preference, don't stay here. This hotel has character, a fascinating past and offers the experience of a charming, old inn. We loved it!

You won't find a better place with better service, food, or rooms than the Kewaunee Inn. We had a great time in the bar talking with other guests and a few locals before dinner and they seemed as realxed and pleased as we were! We both had the freshest fish (indeed caught that day!) we'd ever had and really enjoyed all aspects of the meal. Our server was very attentive and personable, and we were thrilled to be able to compliment the chef when he made it a point to stop by our table.
The rooms are beautifully appointed, with comfortable beds and upgraded linens, and I loved the breathtaking view of Lake Michigan and the Lifghthouse from my window.
I hated to leave and can't wait to go back!

We stayed at the Kewaunee Inn for a getaway while visiting our in-laws. Having visited Kewaunee many times I was not sure what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a third floor "city-view" room, which actually only had a view of a ventilation shaft but that was okay for us. The unoccupied rooms had the doors open which gave us a chance to check out the options for our next visit. The hotel had a nifty art-decor bar with tables outside, which we took advantage of since we had turned off the a/c when we left for dinner and the room got pretty stuffy. The dining room looked nice though we didn't eat there. From the hotel you can walk to numerous restaurants in the small downtown. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back!

We stayed at the Kewaunee Inn to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary! When we arrived at the Kewaunee Inn we were greeted by their friendly staff and shown to our room. Knowing that it was our Anniv. they upgraded us to the corner suite w/ jacuzzi and gave us a bottle of champagne. The room was beautiful and the hotel amazing. It takes a lot to impress me but these people really pay attention to every detail. From the fresh flowers on the tables to lighting and glass bottles in the library.
Very good food at their Friday night fish fry.
Great Hotel, Great location and very Good service. We will be back!
Wish we could have stayed longer.
