“Warm and welcoming”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

My husband and I stayed at Sunnyfield Farms for an overnight as we drove from our home in the Twin Cities to visit family in Milwaukee. Susanne welcomed us warmly upon arrival and we relaxed in the upstairs sitting area with some snacks we brought and a little TV. Our room was beautiful - the Rose Room - comfortable, warm and tastefully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Since we were the only B&B guests that night Susanne asked us to come to her other property, the Fountain Chateau, for breakfast. It was barely a three minute drive into Hustler and well worth it. Her breakfast (bacon and egg rolled omelet, texas toast and apple crumble) was delicious and more than I could eat!

We look forward to a return visit, either to the Sunnyfield Farm B&B or the Fountain Chateau. We wholeheartedly recommend this B&B!

Room Tip: The Rose Room has an adjoining room with two twin beds and would be perfect for a family!

“We'll be back!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 July 2010

My adult daughter and I chose this B&B because of it's close proximity to the Omaha Bike Trail. This B&B is in a beautiful country setting. Soybean, cornfields and sandstone bluffs surround this guesthouse. Susanne the proprietor was a very gracious hostess and made us city people feel like part of her family. Breakfasts were big, delicious and homemade. We felt so at home breakfast conversations with other guests and our hostess would last a couple hours! Our room was very clean and had country decorations. There is a big front porch with comfortable wicker chairs and soft wind chimes to sit and read. Bathrooms were very clean and also had country decorations. We took advantage of the comfortable TV/Library room on second floor where most of the guest rooms are, to relax after biking all afternoon.
My daughter and I agreed that we had a wonderful weekend getaway that was both active and restful. We will be back next year.

Great hosts, beautiful house, amazing breakfast. They have a fun game/movie/hang out room loaded with a jar of cookies. Tin roof ceiling in the kitchen, air conditioning... love this place!
