My company does a lot of business in this area and I have stayed here frequently in the past. Over the past few years, I have watched the quality of service at this property go steadily down.
I guess I had a bad inpression from the start, as it took almost twenty minutes to get checked in on a very s-l-o-w night (maybe a half dozen cars in the parking lot-never a good sign).Immediately on entering my room, there was the feeling of tatty, rundown, and dated decor. The free wireless internet was pretty much a case of "you get what you paid for"-it was free and it didn't work. I called the front desk who reset it and once it worked, it was slower than dial up. Not adequate for business use at all.
I was treated to an ice cold shower the next morning. No hot water at all. I was further disappointed to find what used to be one of the best breakfast buffets I ever experienced was reduced to cold cereal and cooked to order omelets...not much more.
At the current rate of decline, I don't expect this place to survive in its current state for long. I recommend staying at one of the other nearby nice hotels. Thumbs down!

Thank you for choosing the Brookfield Suites Hotel & Convention Center for your stay in Brookfield Wisconsin. We take all our guest complaints or concerns very serious and work hard to insure that every guests stay is enjoyable and relaxing. Based on your review it appears that you did not have the best experience with your most recent stay. While there is no great reason to have a long check-in at our hotel, I can assure you that we recognize the concern and are working with all employees to better understand the system and insure that guests are in the room as swiftly as possible. With regard to the internet, we are aware of the increase in demand and lack of bandwidth, in March we will be upgrading our system to the fastest speeds available and still offering this service absolutely free to our guests. As for the cold shower i can only apologize and stress how we work hard to maintain the quality of hot water for our guests going even further to soften our water to provide more comfort to our guests. Lastly and most importantly, we have listened to your complaint regarding breakfast and have a new breakfast program with a greater variety and quality than any other hotel in the area. I would welcome the opportunity to show how we appreciate our clients and would hope to have a second chance to make an impression.
