We arrived at 3:00 for check-in. We were told that our room was not ready but offered no explanation. When we asked when it would be ready, we were told in about 10 minutes. The desk clerk offered no apologies and told us to go somewhere for a few minutes. We sat in our car. We both thought she was very unproffesional. Considering that there were no more than 6 cars in the parking lot, you would think that our room would be a priority. For what we paid, the room was NOT worth the money. It was very small, and our "jacuzzi" was actually a tub with whirlpool jets. My 6'3" husband was NOT happy. The room was clean for the most part, but very "bare bones." For the money we put out, we expected more. We will not be returning.

In town for girls hockey tournament. Inadequate parking available at this location. No overflow available, and I don't even think the place was full. Ended up having to pull my AWD vehicle up on a snowbank, as did several others. In room TV had "snow" on every channel, despite clear reception in other rooms/lobby. No housekeeping service provided during stay. Room was vacant from 10am - 12:30 and again from 2pm - 5pm. I was in room from 12:30 - 2pm with door propped open. Maid was in hallway. Front desk said they called housekeeping supervisor that claimed DoNotDisturb sign was on door. Absolutely not true. It was NEVER on the exterior side of the door. Complained of a slow-flowing drain in shower (you know, the kind that leaves you taking a shower in ankle deep water that eventually drains). Never serviced, since room wasn't serviced. Had to call down to have them come up with Draino. Very rude desk clerk. Clearly this hotel staff does not adopt the philosophy of "the customer is always right." Hotel is close to expressway, but that's all it is close to. Oh, and a large movie theater. Not many dining options except fast food, and there is nothing in the downtown area of Beloit.
On a positive note, the room was clean, cheap and my daughter and I both slept well!

The service at this hotel was beyond compare. I am in a hotel 250 days a year, and I know great service when I get it. The assistant manager helped me with some issues I had, she is a peach. I wish my business took me more to southern Wisconsin, I would stay here always.

Not only does this hotel accept pets, but the pet charge is only $10 (unlike most Marriott Residence Inns, where the pet charge is upwards of $100). Rooms were basic but clean, quiet and comfortable. This hotel really shines when it comes to the breakfast bar-excellent selection of items, well-presented. Check in and out was smooth, hotel was easy to find and readily accessible to the Interstate. Would stay here again.
