A wonderful park to walk in! Moderate fitmess and sensible walking shoes are nedded. We started at the Park Headquarters which had maps, some displays, warnings about Black bears which we didn't see and tornados and clean flush toilets. The tracks within the park are well maintained with a small amount of challenge in places. We enjoyed a circular half day walk from the Visitors Centre along the East Bluff Walk to the Devil's Doorway and back down through the East Bluff Woodlands Walk. This took us up through areas of conifer and deciduous trees to have a super view of the lake with many lookouts, along rocky and tree gnarled trails. The rocks are an interesting pink coloured quartzite. The Devil's Doorway is a spectacular rock formation which only the very daring decided to explore close up! In August there were many wildflowers blooming along the way. The walk back through the decidious woodland was wonderfully cool on a hot day.
