Although brand changed from Amerihost to Baymont they didn't miss a beat; still clean. What made the stay terrific was the late night front desk guy; although breakfast didn't start until 6 he had it ready for me at 5:15, based on the wakeup call he gave on time at 4:30. Very helpful, I'll stay here again just because of that.

We unfortunately had to temporarly leave our home because we needed some work done, so we had to find a place near by to stay.
I am glad we chose the Baymont Inn. We have a toddler daughter who absolutely loved the pool area. It was well maintained. And very nice. It had a few lounge chairs, some tables and chairs. It also had a great hot tub.
We stayed in a King Suite which had a Jazuzzi tub. It was clean and nicely decorated.
The hotel offers a contintenal breakfast which was great every morning. They had a variety of donuts, bagels and even offered cheese omelets and sausage. They also had a place you could make your own waffles.
We had a minor problem with our booking, but the front desk staff was professional and very helpful.
All in all it was a great stay.

We regularly stay at the Amerihost hotel in Weirton, West Virginia. This hotel is very clean and has a fantastic indoor swimming pool, compared to most other hotels that we have stayed at. The pool is a good size with walk-in steps. There is also a jacuzzi and fitness room. The wood decor of the pool area is very pleasing to the eye.

The hotel also features an included breakfast, which is pretty good. And each room has high-speed internet access, a small refrigerator, and microwave. (One secret: ask for microwave popcorn at the front desk. We got it for free every time. A plus!)

Our only complaint is that the double-bed rooms are not very comfortable. We would prefer 2 queen beds instead, so that we are not always bumping into each other when we are sleeping.

Over all this is a very nice hotel, especially if you enjoy swimming.

This new hotel is nicely appointed with comfortable beds and a great pool area. The walls in the rooms are very sound proof - though there was a bit of noise from above us. The 2 standard rooms we had were very comfortable and had refrigerators and microwaves. Overall, it was a great value for a family. Nearby are many fast food restaurants and a few sit downs. Also some shopping. Easy location off Hwy 22.
