Booked this hotel for 2 days for lodging while attending familily reunion in nearby Cowen WV. For 66.00 a night (includes all taxes), not a bad budget stay, The room was clean and well equipped, the a/c was top notch. If you happen to be at this property for the 4th of July, you are "front and center" for the large municipal fireworks display. Decent continintal breakfast, cereal, bagles, muffins, etc.. 24hr coffee and tea also available.

You may think a "Poor" rating is harsh when my gripe is Internet access, but I never stay in a hotel without access unless there is absolutely no alternative, and this place had "Free High Speed Wireless" on their sign. There was no signal at all, and the woman at the front desk -- though friendly and polite -- insisted it had to be something wrong with my computer. But I had connected twice, at two other hotspots, in the past 18 hours, and my wife's computer also could not see their signal. (We had three signals from the nearby Sleep Inn, but all were security enabled.) She had no idea how to reboot or reset and said the manager could not be reached. She said there must not be a problem because no one had complained but me. In the morning, the day clerk acknowledged that the system was indeed down, but he had no idea what to do either. I suggested taking $10 off the bill would be a nice gesture, but he ignored the request. ..... Anyway, to get away from my kvetch, the place was fine otherwise. Room was clean, bed comfy, not noisy. I lnow that you should not get your hopes up for continental breakfast, but this one was below average (no fruit or juice), and nowhere to eat it but back in your room.

Comfortable bed, good location, and nice breakfast in the morning. Mary at the front desk was most helpful. Halfway between Toronto and Myrtle Beach. Would recommend again.

Since we stayed here two years ago this place has really gone down hill. The room was dirty and all the facilities were in bad need of repair. Pay an extra $20 and stay across the street at the Sleep Inn.
