last room available..was all we needed for a break ,a decent night sleep we left before the small continrntal breakfast, maid should look behind table..hm

First off I was sent to a dirty room. They said they would send the maid IF she hadnt left yet. She came and I left for a few hours. When I returned, I wanted to take a bath but was repulsed by the pubic hairs in the tub. Too bad the maid was gone I would have to wait until the next day for a clean shower. Left that AM for a business event, returned dead tired and to blood stained sheets (in the 2nd bed), so went back to bed 1. Tried to put things in the safe that the sign says I paid extra for, and it is broken. Aside from that, the bed was thin and not comfortable, but I expected that. The carpet was terrible, and the room stank! Mentioned all this upon check out to the nice lady at the front, and it was, "oh, I'm sorry" and he's your bill. That was it. I was appalled at each thing and called them or spoke to them about the issues as they occurred, but nobody really seemed to care. I will NEVER stay here again and this was my 2nd year to stay. I will happily pay more for cleanliness and more of a customer service attitude!

I will NEVER stay here again. First of all, we caught someone in our room 3 times when we weren't there! WTF??? The first guy said he didn't know anyone was "staying overnight" and took our doorknob off so we couldn't get back in and he was painting the door (um, excuse me, but we did have luggage in the room); the second guy was wandering aimlessly around saying he was cleaning (no cleaning cart), and then at 8:30 in the morning the same guy used his key card and just walked into our room!!! Plus I'm 99% sure the place has BED BUGS! We found strange blood stains on our sheets in the morning but no cuts on us. Find out that it is highly likely that it is a squashed bed bug! I'm still regretting this Super 8.

Look. It is Super 8...in West Virginia. I am not expecting the Ritz-Carlton.
We had a late check-in. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and welcoming. The room was not so pleasant....smelling, at least. I do have an issue with musty smells though. I also have an issue with housekeeping attempting to clean the room three (count 'em, three) hours before checkout. She knocked lightly at first and then crescendoed and decrescendoed. I actually laughed at the musicality of her knocking....because the whole instance was ridiculous. I had to find humor to avoid getting upset. Then, she tried to come in. Unfortunately for her, I had locked both locks before I went to bed. She tried to clean two more times before we left. It was almost every hour on the hour. I didn't want to scream at her because I didn't want to be rude. When we were leaving, she apologized. I understand wanting to get a jump on the cleaning, but it seems that came at the expense of the client's comfort. They had a nice staff. I just want uninterrupted sleep and a higher grade cleanliness with the nice staff.
