I stayed at this property for one night in late October 2011. I was in the area for a high school sproting event. I was sold a room with two beds/three guests for $79.
This "first generation style" Hampton property is located near the WV Turnpike/I-77 in an area with multiple lodging and dining options. It is far enough from the highway that road noise is not a factor.
Check-in was literally a one minute affair as I utilized the echeck-in option. The lobby and desk areas were found to be clean, orderly and the staff member was polite.
Interior hallways were clean and well lit and elevator cabs were clean as well. Wait time for elevator service was minimal.
The room had been updated to a recent Hampton standard with a recessed and well lit work area. All areas of the room were clean, fresh and well stocked. The room was equipped with a refrigerator and microwave oven. Those items and all other electrical equipment were found to be in good working order.
I did not take advantage of the complimentary breakfast as we enjoyed a nearby Cracker Barrel. The breakfast area did appear to be well stocked.
Check-out was a breeze with a polite staff inviting me back.
This was a solid stay at an attractive price point. Should the need arise I would not hesitate to stay at this property in the future.
