“Never again”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 June 2011

I would never recommend this shady place to anyone. The Travelodge site stated all kinds of amminities that this place did not have and never did. What the motel did have was cigarette burns in the carpeting, bedding, toilets, & shower/bathtub. The heating/air conditioner unit was filthy. And to top it all off because of the filthy room I decided to check under the covers and under the bed. I found what appeared to be a CRACK PIPE under the bed. I immediately picked it up with toilet paper and turned it into the front desk. This place was filthy!

“Good for the price...clean enough and good pool”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2011

We stayed here overnight on our trip across the USA. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Although the place is definitely past its prime, the rooms were clean and the beds were comforable. For the price, one cannot expect more. The kids had a great time in the pool, and given the temperature, it was a welcome break.

“Stay Away”

I would suggest staying away from this place. We booked this through Hot Wire and I think they need to check what kind of places they are booking hotels with. The website stated there was a iron, ironing board, coffemaker, microwave and refrigerator. Not one of these items were in our room. We were advised to get these you needed to upgrade. However not informed of this when we booked with Hot Wire. The rooms were not slept in for awhile. The bedspreads had stains on them as well as the blankets had cigarette holes. It appears they were cleaned the last time someone stayed there and never touched again. Breakfast was one dozen donuts for the whole hotel, cereal and they ran out of coffee. Did not feel to safe staying in this area. I will not be staying here ever again. IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED. Be careful when booking with HOT WIRE! We had excellent luck with them until this trip.

“Got the Job Done”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 May 2010

I recently stayed here needing a cheap place to stay for one night. I blind booked through hotwire, and ended up with this place. (Note: using Hotwire does not save any money with this property. In fact, it's cheaper to book direct.)

The hotel looks run down on the outside, but the rooms themselves are fine. It is located at the intersection of two major highways - US 50 and I 77. The property is actually two hotels that shares a pool and parking lot - incorporating a Knights Inn as well. Curiously, this hotel is about $10 less than the Knights Inn side of the property.

Check in was quick. The clerk knew me by name, which tells me that I was either the last check in, or the only check in (it was about 7 PM when I arrived). The parking lot was almost empty, with the exception of a couple of work trucks.

The building was traditional single story motel style. I was able to pull up to the door. The room was small and spartan, but comfortable and clean. Other than a waffle house type restaurant, there really wasn't anything within walking distance, so I had to drive to get dinner. However, I was able to settle in and get a decent night's sleep.

Overall, great stay for the price. I will likely return.

“Excellent place to rest”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 April 2010

I stayed in a room close to the main office and had good wireless connection. I know some people have had problems, but I was only 3 rooms away from the front desk. The room was very clean, the bathroom was clean, the beds were comfortable and the cleaning services was very good. I was there 3 nights and felt safe. The price I got online was about $20 cheaper than what they offer at the desk. The breakfast was nothing special, just donuts and coffee (limited donuts at that). The people were extremely friendly and the housekeeping staff was excellent. I plan to stay here when I am in the area again.
