I recently stayed here needing a cheap place to stay for one night. I blind booked through hotwire, and ended up with this place. (Note: using Hotwire does not save any money with this property. In fact, it's cheaper to book direct.)
The hotel looks run down on the outside, but the rooms themselves are fine. It is located at the intersection of two major highways - US 50 and I 77. The property is actually two hotels that shares a pool and parking lot - incorporating a Knights Inn as well. Curiously, this hotel is about $10 less than the Knights Inn side of the property.
Check in was quick. The clerk knew me by name, which tells me that I was either the last check in, or the only check in (it was about 7 PM when I arrived). The parking lot was almost empty, with the exception of a couple of work trucks.
The building was traditional single story motel style. I was able to pull up to the door. The room was small and spartan, but comfortable and clean. Other than a waffle house type restaurant, there really wasn't anything within walking distance, so I had to drive to get dinner. However, I was able to settle in and get a decent night's sleep.
Overall, great stay for the price. I will likely return.
