we had booked this room a couple months in advance, as it was memorial day weekend and wanted to make sure we had a place to sleep. when we got off the exit, my wife and i looked at each other and said "you've got to be kidding me". we had pulled off this exit in sept 2010 looking for a room at around 9pm. one look at the area and we got back right on 77 and drove to cambridge, oh. this time, as it was only 5pm and daylight out, we decided to check it out anyway, prepared to leave.
the area is kind of seedy and run down. not alot of places to eat close by. we had pizza delivered to our room.
but we will give the owners credit. they are doing the best they can with what they have. the room was clean, no bed bugs, although old. they have tried to spruce things up a bit. we ended up staying, because there were alot of cars there.
our advice: go 10-15 miles north or south, and you can find nicer/more comfortable areas to stay.
like i said, they're trying. but keep driving. not the best red roof inn. actually, anything at this exit, you should pass on.
