After reading the reviews I was very scared about checking in to this hotel. But, I was very pleasantly surprised at what we found. The room was pretty big. Even with a king bed, couch, coffee table, and desk, there was plenty of room for our two year old to run around. This hotel is extremely quiet. At most hotels, you can at least hear people opening and closing doors, or showers being turned on in the mornings, but not here. It was great. This hotel is close to I-79, shopping, restaurants, the WVU Campus, the WVU Coliseum, WVU Hospitals, and Mountaineer Field. Although a bit over priced, it is a good place to stay.
I only have a few complaints. The bathroom is tiny. There is barely enough room for one person at a time. The counter, toilet, and shower are all right up against each other. Most of the time when we tried our room key, it would not open on the first try. It often took 3 or 4 times to get the door to open. The TV did not show you the channel number and they do not get Root Sports. I was very upset to be in Morgantown during a football game, knowing it was on TV, but unable to watch it in my room. They do not have WiFi. Surprising this day and age. They do have an Ethernet cable and it was very easy to use, however, the cable in our room was on the opposite side of the room from the desk. The sheets on the bed the first night were stained, although they looked like old stains. The faucet in the bathroom was dripping, not loud enough to make much noise. Overall, it is a good hotel. I would defiantly stay there again.
