The hotel is right beside a strip club. In the middle of the night, there was an argument right outside our room door and I heard mention of one of them having a gun. The actual room itself was clean and the front desk staff was very polite. The continental breakfast was very minimal. Overall I would not recommend this hotel for families with kids.

Easily the biggest dump I've stayed in over the last 10 years. Located next to a strip club to start, this hotel was deficient in nearly every conceivable area.

Our room smelled like cooked broccoli. I have no idea how this is even possible. The toilet ran for 15 minutes after flushing. The bathroom was partially painted. There were only 2 bath towels (for a double room). The security swing lock on the door was missing. There was no "do not disturb" sign. I had to connect the cable TV myself. There was no alarm clock. I was told that "some rooms have them and some don't." Fantastic. The sheets had rips in them and the old blankets were frayed at the edges. The bathroom door didn't fit and wouldn't close without a fight. One window screen in our room had a 6" hole in it. Luckily the window still closed. The carpet was torn/burned in places. We had a no smoking room and there were cigarette burns on the bathroom counter and the nightstand. The continental breakfast was standard Microtel fare, which is unawful, anyway. In this case, however, the cabinet which held the pastries also contained flies. The OJ tasted like it had been sitting for days. The common areas of the hotel were in desperate need of vacuuming and looked to have been recently painted (poorly).

All in all, by far the worst Microtel I've ever stayed in. Stay away.

My wife had a last-minute trip to this area, and we needed a place to stay. Owing to bills, we had to economize on this trip, and hoped we wouldn't be disappointed.

Staff at the front desk were friendly. The room was clean, and represented solid value in this class of hotel. Minor gripes: water pressure for the shower seemed low. The bed seemed a bit soft for my taste, and the pillows were pretty limp. We didn't use an internet connection, and walked to a nearby Cracker Barrel restaurant for breakfast before check-out.

Certainly an okay room for its price class. We would stay here again.

We were traveling and stop here without a reservation. The front desk clerk was friendly and helpful and booked us in a King room with fridge and microwave on the first floor.

The wireless Internet worked well. The bed was comfy. The recliner was lumpy. The TV selection was excellent. The room spacious. Price was excellent.

Some problems with the bathroom: EXTREMELY loud fan that comes on with the light and a toilet that backed up and required plunging.
