This hotel is right downtown Huntington and on the river. It is right next to a brand new square where there is a Starbucks, Max & Ermas, and several other restaurants and shops. It is across the street from Marsall's restaurant, which is the namesake of this University centered town. The hotel has been recently redecorated and has decent amenties like gym, pool, etc. The main issue I have is with the heating units in the rooms. They are the through-the-wall units that have no thermostat. Instead you set the fan speed with one knob and then set the temperature with the other. First it was too hot and woke me in a sweat at 2am, then it was too cold and I awoke to a freezing room at 5am!

We stayed at this hotel in December for a concert that was supposed to take place on December 11th. Unfortunately, the concert was postponed until January 5th but we were so pleased with the location, the staff and the room (within walking distance to the things we wanted to do), that we booked again for the January trip. The staff members were very pleasant and helpful, the rooms were clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed here for a night and not one negative thing to say! Clean, affordable and the perfect location. The hotel is situated in between the Civic Arena and Pullman Square. Many shops, restaurants, and bars within a block of the hotel. Great service with no issues. Highly recommend this hotel!

I stayed at this hotel for one night. I arrived early and my room was not ready so the person at the desk upgraded me to a suite at no charge. The hotel picked me up at the airport and the driver was very pleasant. Great location.
