I was recently "awarded" this hotel via Priceline. Because it's Huntington, which doesn't have good hotels, I'm giving this a three, but anywhere else, this place would struggle.

It's located right off of I-64, many miles east of Huntington. It took us 40 minutes to get to the airport from the hotel. If you want to be closer to Barboursville, this location is fine, but it really didn't suit our needs.

The structure is old and run down. We had a ground floor room, which had a very strong odor of trapped moisture. The ventilation in this place is terrible, and the windows do not open. My wife and I left the door open as much as we could in order to air the room out.

The room is clean, but the staff takes shortcuts. We moved out the nightstand to find additional electrical outlets, and found candy wrappers and large dust clods. Further, the pool had a healthy amount of chlorination, but also had debris on the bottom. Also, our fridge in the room had a nasty smell and did not keep our food cold.

The beds were good enough, and we slept OK, which is what matters I guess. However, I only see myself returning to this property because the choices in Huntington are so poor. In the meantime, I'm going to keep looking for something better.

The front desk "manager" as there wasn't one actually on duty according to the sign was rude and short with me - acted like I was wasting her time. First room we ended up in had a very LOUD AC unit which did not work at all. Called to front desk and was told by a clueless night clerk that she would "bring up the fan from her room" which was nice of her - but blowing around hot air just doesn't work. Went back to front desk to wait in line while clueless clerk took well over 20 minutes to finally get to me. Got a new room after the "manager" finally got off her duff to help the clueless front desk person. The women in front of me had a "special deal/.rate" with the hotel and as a side note was not "on the motel records" for that night. Interesting to say the least. No one is really in charge here so stay at your own risk.

Waited long time to ck in . Room wasnt cleaned while we were gone until after 6pm.Eight motorcyles with partiers under us and to the side of us hooted and hollering reving engines all the time. Got a nasty call from guy under my room cussin me out cause my tub leaked

This hotel was horrible. We stayed in a non smoking unit that smelled like FAB…. For those of you that don’t know that is Foot, [--] and Beer. The carpet was horrible and it felt very unsanitary to walk on bare foot. If this is any indication when sitting at the desk I took my shirt off I had been wearing that day and put it on the floor to rest my feet on. The comforter had cigarette burns in and yes I did say we were in a non-smoking unit. The front desk was rude. My wife called to receive a 12 o’clock check out and received “one check out” and then a dial tone. Never again will I stay here. There is a Red Roof Inn right beside it I would suggest going there if you had to stay off of this exit. If you just need this city there are plenty of better options.
