I stayed here for 2 nights and found the hotel very good on all accounts: clean, very friendly staff, modern, etc. The only thing I could see them improving is the breakfast. Other than that, it was a pleasure to stay there. If in Huntington again, I would definitely choose this hotel.

I had the pleasure of staying here once again for the Marshall University Homecoming weekend while in town visiting my son. As always the place was neat as a pin and the staff gracious and welcoming! After having sampled some of the other places to stay in and around Huntington there is no place I'd rather be then at this hotel. The location is central to everything and accommodations are nothing less then you would expect from a Marriott property. Special kudos to Elaine Daniels for going above and beyond the call of duty. When I called to book for this weekend they were sold out. Elaine went out of her way to help me secure another reservation elsewhere until an opening became available at TownePlace. No where else have I encountered such a high level of customer service. I have traveled extensively and stayed at dozens of 5 Star properties, never have I felt as welcome as I do here. Elaine and her staff are amazing!

I had the pleasure of Staying here for college reunion weekend .The accommodations were tops! The service upon entry: warm and welcoming and the rooms were simply gorgeous.
You have a jewell in Ms. Elaine Daniels your operations manager, for customer service. She simply makes the place Rock!

Plan on staying here EVERY YEAR I attend!

This place has it all. Free WIFI, newly build. Great big rooms, Kitchen. Lots of space for storage. Central Location to downtown and freeways. Really could not ask for more. It is like having you own apartment. 24 Gas/Convenience store across the road. various places to eat, Laundry Room. Basically everything you could need in a stay. This was our second visit in a year and we will not stay anywhere else when we visit family in the area.
