This hotel was the only thing available in the huntington downtown area when we were booking. Lets start with the exterior that is literally falling apart, the hotel is nasty looking. Next will go to the lobby which is old and again falling apart. The rooms at the hotel are gross, the hallways are dingy and scary with office style room numbers and 2 old elevators that arent very reliable. The food at breakfast has a lot to be desired. The 1 good thing about the hotel is the location(close to everything). It was very convienient for the marshall football game. However after coming back from the marshall game at 5:00 o clock PM our room on the third floor hadnt been cleaned. We told the front desk and were told they had to accomandate there bigger parties first. They finally had our room cleaned at almost 6:00. Overall this hotel is a dump and if your traveling to huntington and cant get a room at the Holiday Inn stay somewhere in Barboursville Its worth it!

Yes, I agree that we do need some updates. Our building is in the process of some grand renovations. As you saw from our parking lot. We have a huge dumpster and tube coming down the building since we are in process of these. Our building is getting a much needed paint job that because of the size of our building and weather will take around 6 months. New carpet and bedding is being installed as we speak. As for the decor of the lobby it would be a shame to take the flooring that came from italy up. It is part of our history. Sometimes new is not always better when you have a piece of Huntington that most of Huntington remembers how historic it was. Our building was the first in Huntington to be build from the top down. I am so sorry that your room was not clean upon your arrival from the game. If you are the guests that I talked to I tried to get it cleaned immediately upon finding out it was not done. I also offered your family free beverages from the steak house while you waited. As for Breakfast not sure what went wrong but we use fresh eggs cracked every morning, not the usual out of a box like so many restaurants use. Please when in Huntington again for a Marshall game come by and see the new bedding and the upgrades we are putting in place. Like all things it takes time and with 202 rooms it is a slow process. We appreciate your comments and hope you try us out again in the future.

“Great Place to Stay”
I travel to Huntington a lot for work and always stay at Pullman Plaza Hotel. It is a great hotel and would recommend it to anyone! The staff is always nice, hotel is clean, and close to everything.

“Wonderful Huntington Hotel Stay”
I was in Huntington for a large group get together. We were guest at the Pulman Plaza for 4 or more days. This place is nothing but wonderful for anyone staying there in Huntington, close to many places to visit and se a lot of our American history. The accomdations, food, and most of all their attitude with guest was one of the best in many years of travel. This hotel is top notch in myine as well as many of our groups observation. This was my second stay there too sowe all really enjoyed.

Room Tip: Loved the top two floors we were on tenth.

“Perfect Location”
If you're going to a Marshall football game, which we were, or just want to be downtown. And it's just across the street from Pullman Square and all the downtown restaurants are within walking distance. The rooms are big and they are clean... and maybe a little dated. And the price is a bargain for a downtown property.
This is a friendly hotel. Everyone went out of their way to make sure everything was OK.
There's free valet parking and free buffet b'fast, which isn't great, but it's free.
Room Tip: Get a river view room 5th floor and above.

“Worst customer service ever”
Front desk full of chain smoking snobs. Rooms are dirty. Common areas smell like port a potty. Internet service is free because it never works. Staying tonight then getting the F out of here. Don't be fooled by good photos. This place is a dump.
