We stayed in this hotel for two nights while skiing at Winter Place. This is the only hotel in this little town. We were unsure exactly how to pull in the parking lot. There was an adult superstore right infront of the hotel, and they shared a parking lot which was muddy and full of potholes. Our check in was smooth, and the man that checked us in was friendly. When we went into our first room it smelled weird, and we were quickly given another room. Our beds were very hard, and I think the roll away bed we rented from them was much more comfortable. On the second day there we called the front desk and told them we needed fresh towels. We were told to leave them outside the door. We left the hotel, and when we arrived that night our clean towels were laying in the floor outside of our door. This could not be a "normal" or "appropriate" way to leave towels. You dry your face on those, and you do not want them in the hallway floor. They had only given us two towels, and they knew we had more than two in the room because we had requested a roll away. We called the front desk to ask for extra towels, and the guy had a bad attitude. They had not serviced our room at all. The didn't change the garbage or make the beds, and to top it off our towels were left in the hallway all day. This was inappropriate. We would only stay in this hotel again, because it is so close to the ski resort. However, beware, the only food in town is one Subway. The next town is about 8 miles away, and I would much rather make the short drive and stay at a nicer hotel.
