Stayed one night on the way home from vaca. Have stayed before and found it a great ltiie hotel at a good price.
It now needs a little fixup here and there. The hallways had a damp sort of musty not pleasant smell. The rooms did not have the smell but ours needs new rugs in a big way.
I think they are the same rugs from our first stay approx. 5 years ago.
The front desk staff were friendly and efficient but not as profesional they could be.
All round not a bad place ( i've seen worse ) but not as good as it was. I would certainly check the halls and rooms before booking in again.

I got two rooms at this hotel for me and my husband and for our adult son who was visiting Fairmont State University for his orientation. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. They also gave us rooms close together which is sometimes hard to get. The breakfast wasn't very good, just some donuts and bread you could toast, but for the price we could eat out and still spend less than surrounding hotels. We will stay there again.

We stayed at this Super 8 from 7/26 through 7/31. Was a great room, although bed was not firm in the least. Upon check-in we asked for additional towels, which we received on the spot. Told housekeeping we would like to have 2 additional towels daily. Each day we received a different number of towels, sometimes 2 sometimes 3. One day we did not even receive wash cloths. There was a power outage one day while we were there, and while I understand that is an act of nature, the was no emergency lighting at the end of the hall we stayed in; had to feel our way along in the dark and hope we got into the correct room, which thankfully we did. Breakfast set up was nice, however you had to arrive in the breakfast area as soon as it opened, as there was a construction crew staying there. If we arrived after they had been through, there was nothing left to choose from.

Such a nice comfortable hotel with very clean rooms. There is a coffee pot with coffee and tea in the rooms. A roll away bed can be added for 6.00 per night and it is comfortable as well as the regular beds. The tv quality is not really very good but you can see the picture just fine.The room did NOT have any smoke smell or bad smells at all and was very quiet! There are vending machines with soda, water, icecream, and foods you can microwave with a frig and microwave in the rooms. Free coffee in the lobby all hours and free internet in the rooms. Nice staff!

There is a Super-Walmart within 5 miles and a shopping mall with Chinese and Mexican food. If you don't want to travel far there is a gas station, Subway, and Cracker Barrel very close to the hotel. You can have local delivery from Pizza places and Chinese. I love this Hotel even if it does not have a pool.
