The website for this inn is about as deceptive as they get, and I would strongly recommend staying anywhere else than this place. The cost was over $100, and it was a nightmare! First off, the room we stayed in had no phone. Which doesn't really matter, because they have no services or concierge of any matter. The check-in took over 30 minutes, why I have no idea. Our room had no fire alarm or way of locking the door (no chain, swing-arm, or independent bolt). The room was above the kitchen for restaurant, so the noise was terrible. When you do get quiet, the 4 lane major highway 100 yards away shows you what rest and relaxation is not like. The "continental breakfast" consisted of two pre-packaged blueberry muffins and 2 6oz cans of pineapple juice. These were left on our desk at check-in. The trim in the room is unpainted w/ nails sticking out. The shower temp was about 90degrees on our thermometer...woulda felt great had it not been 30degrees outside. The heat in the room was very good.... so good that at midnight we were awakened to find the room unbearably hot, and the thermostat was broken. We had to turn it off and then be nearly frozen by 5am. We tried to eat at the restaurant, but had to leave after standing in the lobby w/ basically no assistance. This was after we tried to make reservations, but were told they were slow and it wasn't necessary. This place is a rip-off LLC operation...stay away at all cost and go to the Econo8 at the base of the mountain...it would have to be classier than this place! Also, they represent themselves as being AAA approved, gave me a AAA discount, and have a AAA sign when you enter the property. However, they are not AAA approved and I filed a complaint w/ AAA and the BBB.
